Horden Colliery Residents Association (HCRA) was formed after a small group of people got together one winters day in January 2006 and decided that it was time something was done about the disgraceful state of the properties in and around Seventh Street (Horden, County Durham, United Kingdom). It soon became apparent that there were other issues which we could attempt to deal with, so in May of 2006 we adopted the constitution and became the ”Seventh Street Residents Association” later this became HCRA. This site was created on the 10th of November 2007 and provides a way for the community to have a voice. Please see the Newsletter section for both current and legacy news about HCRA and to "have your say" look for our "Forum" section.
